These 5 Essential Medicinal Herbs are a great addition to your garden for optimal health among several other reasons. I grow several herbs every year, but there are five that I use for medicinal purposes for me and my garden.

Purple coneflower, also known as Echinacea purpurea, is a popular perennial plant not only used for its medicinal properties but it is also a beautiful ornamental that can bring beauty to any garden. Here are some tips for using purple coneflower:
