Hormone Balancing Fruit Salad
Ingredients:
- 1 Honeycrisp apple (or your favorite apple)
- 1/4 cup black grapes (hello, anthocyanins!)
- 1/4 cup strawberries
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp maca powder
- 1 tsp cacao powder
Directions:
1. In a small bowl, mash the banana and mix in the maple syrup, maca, cacao, and chia seeds.
2. Chop the remaining fruit into bite-sized pieces.
3. Mix the banana mixture with the fruit and enjoy!
Feel free to swap in your favorite fruits—dark berries like blueberries or black grapes are great because they’re rich in anthocyanins, which are known to help fight inflammation. But the real stars here are the maca powder and cacao powder. Maca is known for its hormone-balancing benefits, particularly for reducing symptoms of PMS and menopause.
